result of extensive research and craftsmanship, this lamp will give you years of trouble-free service. All R-52G lamps are constructed of hand-contoured, rugged Cycolac® plastic and use a shortwave, 254nm lamp grid.

The UVP R-52G Mineralight Lamp's use a grid design which is a highly uniform 254 nm UV source of high-intensity.

What is the life of the Shortwave Mineral light filter?

The R-52G Grid Lamp Shortwave Mineralight lamp filters have a rated average life of 1,000 hours. When the ultraviolet intensity on the shortwave lamp decreases considerably, a new filter is needed. To prolong the life of the shortwave filter, ensure the lamp is turned off when not in use.
